Special logistics operation is set up to speed up the release of hand sanitizer cargo

Process was carried out by Multilog with cargo that arrived through Viracopos airport (SP)

In view of the measures to combat the novel Coronavirus pandemic and the need to provide protection and sanitization tools, a logistics operation was set up to expedite the release of special cargo. In São Paulo, cargo with hand sanitizer that arrived through Viracopos airport was released to its final destination up to 75% ahead of schedule, compared to traditional operations, due to the use of the DTA-S (Simplified Customs Transit Declaration). The operation was carried out by Multilog, one of the largest logistics players in Brazil and one of the few in the country to be qualified to carry out this process, with the partnership of Master Freight (Cargo Agent and Shipment Commissioner).

“The emergency cargo arrived by air and our on-duty team soon released the airport to the CLIA in Campinas, where the nationalization process was carried out. After release, we also transported it to the hospital in São Paulo”, explains Herbert Zacatei, Manager of Business Development for the Southeastern Region and Borders of Multilog.

With teams prepared to serve clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul, Multilog has increased the pace of cargo operations and tools to combat Covid-19. “More than just offering our services, we want to serve society. We are proud to be able to offer something that goes beyond expectations and to be able to act to help everyone during this very delicate time”, adds Zacatei.
